A Word from Dr. Fox

WELCOME TO PALM BEACH PEDIATRICS!

As President, I take great interest in making sure your family’s experience is one that I would want for my own family.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Palm Beach Pediatrics is committed to meeting the physical and emotional needs of the children of Palm Beach County by providing the highest quality of care with compassion and honesty.

Shannon Fox-Levine, MD, FAAP
Shannon Fox-Levine
President, Pediatrician -

This is the premise on which our practice was founded almost 40 years ago. All goals for the future are tied to this fundamental principle of giving the highest quality of mind and body care by providers and staff who are compassionate and honest. This is our practice culture. We have been fortunate over the years to have performed as a team in our community well above the expectations for this measure. As providers and staff come and go, we continue to reach the highest standards by the contribution of each of them. We are selective in our team members to be sure they can live up to the Palm Beach Pediatrics Way.

My favorite quote is:

When you are finished changing, you are finished.

In my career I have witnessed much change in medicine. We pride ourselves in being a “by-the-book” practice, which means that we follow American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines to give your children the highest quality of care. The guidelines for such diseases as Asthma, ADHD, Anxiety, Vaccine preventable illnesses or now COVID-19 have changed over the 20 years I have been in practice. It is our duty to stay current and abide by these directions that are based on science.

As a Level III recognized Patient Centered Medical Home you can be sure your children’s care will be conveniently accessible when needed with late night hours at each office M-Th and weekend hours. Our goal is to avoid urgent care of Emergency Room visits by being available as needed to evalute your child when ill. We also pride ourselves in the coordination of care of all your children’s special medical needs. We have a team of Care Coordinators to be sure your referrals are sent to sub-specialists, but more importantly, those specialists’ visit notes are sent to your pediatric provider for review.

I hope you find your new Patient Centered Medical HOME  with Palm Beach Pediatrics. It would be our privilege to care for your children from birth, until the age of 22.

Sincerely,

Shannon Fox Levine
