Medicaid Renewal

Does your child have a Medicaid or CHIP health plan?

Don't risk a gap in your child's Medicaid or CHIP coverage!

Medicaid / CHIP

Since the beginning of the Public Health Emergency (PHE), as a requirement to receive additional funding from the federal government, Florida has provided continuous Medicaid coverage and has not disenrolled ineligible recipients.

THIS SPECIAL PROVISION ENDED ON MARCH 31, 2023!

Over the next 12 months, the Florida Department of Children and Families will be working to notify current Medicaid recipients regarding their future eligibility in the program.

GET READY TO RENEW NOW!

STEP 1

UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION

Make sure Florida Medicaid (AHCA and DCF) has your current mailing address, phone number, email, or other contact information. This way, they’ll be able to contact you about your Medicaid or CHIP coverage.

STEP 2

CHECK YOUR MAIL

Florida Medicaid will mail you a letter about your Medicaid or CHIP coverage. This letter will also let you know if you need to complete a renewal form to see if you still qualify for Medicaid or CHIP.

STEP 3

COMPLETE YOUR RENEWAL FORM

Fill out the form and return it to Florida Medicaid right away to help avoid a gap in your Medicaid or CHIP coverage.
